Current
Exhibition

Interval gathers eleven artists whose work turns on the space between things: the pause before a gesture lands, the gap between a body and its shadow, the beat of silence inside a loud room. Paint, cast bronze, salvaged wood, and single channel video sit in the same three rooms without competing for the same attention.

The
Artists

01

Marta Yun

Born in Busan, based in Lisbon. Yun spent six years recording tide patterns before she painted a single canvas, and it shows: her surfaces build in the same slow layers as sediment. This is her third show with Meridian.

Painting
02

Otieno Kade

Trained as a structural engineer in Nairobi before turning to sculpture full time in 2019. Kade builds forms that look like they are mid fall, held there by cable tension you cannot see from across the room.

Sculpture
03

Priya Vance

Vance grinds her own pigment from clay she collects near her studio outside Ahmedabad. The resulting palette shifts slightly from painting to painting, tied to the season she made the ground.

Mixed media
04

Declan Ross

A former foundry apprentice in Cork, Ross casts every figure himself and refuses to cast the same form twice. Standing Pause is his largest bronze to date and the anchor piece of the west room.

Bronze
05

Halle Winters

Winters paints in blocks of two hours, timed, then stops regardless of where the canvas sits. The edges where one session ends and another begins are visible if you look for them, and she leaves them that way on purpose.

Painting
06

Soren Aabel

A Copenhagen printmaker who works exclusively in series, never in singles. Long Wall Sequence took fourteen months and nine attempts to complete in the order Aabel intended it to be read.
